Our Mission
The Partner Parishes of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Fairchance, Pennsylvania and St. Hubert in Point Marion, Pennsylvania were established to strengthen the Roman Catholic presence in our communities.
We strive to bring the sacraments, Godís love and fellowship to all we encounter on our journey of faith.
We place this endeavor under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the intercession of the Blessed Virgin, and our patron saints.

Membership:  To be considered a member of good standing in any parish, one must regularly attend Mass at that parish and offer financial support by the regular use of offertory envelopes.  Remember, to act as a Godparent or Confirmation Sponsor, one must meet these minimum requirements in order to receive a Certificate of Eligibility from the parish.  The infirm are naturally exempt, but should still contact the parish office to arrange for visitation and reception of Holy Eucharist.  Click here for a Census/Membership form.

Offertory Envelopes:  Should be used on a regular basis.  Envelopes that have not been used within a six month period will be cancelled and the family placed on an inactive list.   Membership will be removed from the census after one year of inactivity.  Again, this does not pertain to the elderly, infirmed or disabled.

OCTOBER COUNT
Every October, parishes across the diocese obtain a head count at all Sunday Masses, this includes four weekends, in order to determine how many parishioners attend weekend Masses. This number is sent to the diocese for evaluation and future projections. It is important that you try your best to attend Mass every weekend at your home parish. Numbers do play a part in decisions for the future of a parish.
