Sept 3-6 - 76th Annual Pilgrimage: Honoring Our Lady of Perpetual Help at Mt. St. Macrina, Uniontown, over this Labor Day Weekend

Sept 11 - Friends of the Poor Walk: The St. Vincent de Paul Society, Fayette County Council, will sponsor the second annual Friends of the Poor Walk, “Walk a Mile in My Shoes,” on Saturday, September 11th. The walk begins at the St. Vincent de Paul Store, 70 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, and will last from 9:00 AM—3:00 PM, rain or shine. Walk as much or as little as you wish, and enjoy a Gosepl Sing as well as refreshments. Walkers donating $10 or more will receive a T-shirt. All funds raised will assist the poor and needy in Fayette County. To donate, or for more information, contact Polly Simmons, 724-785-9507. Donations are 100% tax deductable, and will be accepted on the day of the walk.

Sept 12 - The Secular Discalced Carmelite Community of Uniontown will be holding it’s annual open meeting at St. Anthony’s Friary, 115 Oakland Ave., Uniontown on Sunday, Sept. 12th at 1:15 PM.
